FilterProof

Practical guide

Start a filter comparison from the exact appliance model

FilterProof is a manual comparison, not a live product catalog. Begin with the exact appliance model and installed reference, then compare only facts entered from the relevant documentation.

Record the reference first

Enter the appliance model and current filter reference from the nameplate, manual, or cartridge. A family name or shopping phrase is not an exact model reference for the row review.

The illustrative defaults deliberately say to verify the appliance nameplate and use CURRENT-VERIFY as a placeholder reference.

Set minimum requirements

Connection, minimum capacity, and minimum life are entered requirements. The default screen uses 1/4 inch quick-connect, 300 gallons, and 6 months; replace them with the actual appliance requirements.

candidate passes a requirement when entered value meets the stated minimum

Distinguish outcomes

An incompatible row conflicts with an entered fact. An unknown row lacks a required confirmation. A compatible row must be marked as an exact appliance-model match and pass all entered checks.

Check your own scenario

Replace the illustrative inputs with measured values and dated specifications.
